Kathleen Davidge who took this photograph was the winner of our
Dementia Together magazine Christmas card competition 2018. She wrote:
‘I am contributing this photograph as a long-time patron of Alzheimer’s Society, having seen my dear Mum suffer and now my Uncle and Sister; so it would be a great privilege to see a photograph of mine used to support Alzheimer’s Society, as the one charity close to my heart. One Christmas, we had heavy snowfall which is a rare occasion for Chickerell, Dorset. So I took up my camera and went out and came across our friends and ended up staying out to what was one of the most special winter scenes I’ve experienced. This photo is of my friend walking her flock of Dorset sheep up a country lane towards her farm.’
