A soft, sugar-free, cool-mint gummy that offers a simple way to freshen up on the days when brushing is difficult.
For many people living with dementia, toothbrushing can become confusing, frightening or distressing. Dentablue was developed with people living with dementia, carers and healthcare professionals as a gentler moment of mouth care: just chew and swallow. There's no water, no rinsing and no spitting.
Dentablue is not a replacement for toothbrushing or professional dental care. It's designed for use between brushing, or on days when brushing is hard.
Dentablue's founder, Molly Baldini, spent years working in the NHS supporting people with dementia and their families. She saw first-hand how brushing could become a source of fear and distress, for the person and for those caring for them, and set out to find a calmer way to support everyday mouth care.
Dentablue has been supported by Alzheimer's Society through its Launchpad and Accelerator programmes.
