Radio controlled day clock
I'm delighted with this day clock because it's as described and shown before purchase and it serves it's intended purpose.

This clock works well and would be fine in a house for a person who is mobile.
I am disappointed in it because I bought it for my wife who is in a care home with mobility issues and dementia. I put it in her room where i hoped she would be able to see it from her bed and also from her chair. Unfortunately it is difficult to read unless you are looking at it at right angles. Also the grey background means the characters don't stand out clearly unless it is in a very strong light.
I was disappointed to find the background colour of the clock display is pale grey and not white as shown in the advertisement. This makes the lack of contrast between the information displayed and the background more difficult to determine for someone with impaired sight.
Although this clock has al the necessary information, I was disappointed that the colouring of the information on the screen was greyish rather than black, and that the background was not a clear white, in contrast to the picture shown on the box and above!
It is therefore not so clearly defined from a distance, as I would have liked.
